Some may still be wondering if the eld device that they are using is approved by the Fmcsa. There are several that do not meet their standards. At the link I have included below, you can check to verify if what you are using is an approved device or one that they have decided did not meet their standards they set.

The penalties for not having an approved eld is high. They will impose fines, fees, penalties, and shut you down. This would mean loss of work and loss of pay. Don’t let this happen.
