On September 2, 2025, WSDOT announced the launch of the Truck Parking Information Management System (TPIMS)University of Washington Star Lab
- Gee Creek Rest Area northbound (north of Vancouver, mile marker 11)
- Gee Creek Rest Area southbound (south of Woodland, mile marker 12)
- Maytown Rest Area (south of Olympia, mile marker 93)
- Fort Lewis Weigh Station (near DuPont, mile marker 117)
- SeaTac Weigh Station (between Fife and Federal Way, mile marker 140)
- Smokey Point Rest Area southbound (south of Mount Vernon, mile marker 207)
- Smokey Point Rest Area northbound (north of Marysville, mile marker 207)
- Custer Rest Area northbound (north of Bellingham, mile marker 267)
- Custer Rest Area southbound (south of Blaine, mile marker 269)
- Toutle River Rest Area northbound (north of Castle Rock, mile marker 54)
- Ridgefield Weigh Station (north of Ridgefield, mile marker 15)
Funding for TPIMS comes from the Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration and the federal Infrastructure for Rebuilding America, or INFRA grant program through the U.S. Department of Transportation.
