In July 2025, the main focus for DOT inspections will be on Operation Safe Driver Week, which is scheduled for July 13th through the 19th. This initiative focuses on risky driving behaviors by both commercial motor vehicle drivers and passenger vehicle drivers.

Law enforcement will be looking for unsafe driving practices by both commercial and passenger vehicle drivers.
This is based on the understanding that drivers actions and reactions are major contributing factors in most traffic crashes.
I feel that they should go after the people who drive down the road with their foot in the window. How can they stop quickly if needed? A major safety issue if you ask me.
