How many of you have noticed, as you pass another truck, or they pass you, that the other driver has his foot up on the dash or in the window? How is this being a professional driver? What happens when, not if, you are cut off by a four wheeler or another truck? What happens if you go around a curve and have stopped traffic?
These are the things that actual professional Truck Drivers ponder.
What happened to trucking? Guys running around with their underwear hanging out, wearing flip flops, showing up at the customers business wearing shorts, or are just dirty and smelly. I have watched men get out of their trucks at the truck stop, take a pee and then crap in a bag and leave it ther, if they even use a bag. I have seen females open the door on their truck and hang out and do the same. Then they walk into the truck stop for food and a drink. These new school “drivers” have completely ruined the industry. They have no respect for anyone else or any place.
I for one say that this needs to end. There needs to be standards set for these new people. Proper attire, etiquette, cleanliness, and more. Companies need to make sure that their hires take the necessary steps to bring this industry back.
